We are looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team. The Training team's primary objective is to interact with our customers to deliver educational content that will help them use and be successful with our product. Previous experience with training content and presentation skills are required. Additionally, expertise with delivering technical training or coaching in the field of software is recommended. Up to 10% travel possible and working hours will occur during US Eastern Time Zone hours of 9am-5pm.
Key Objectives
Essential Functions/Priorities:
As a Junior Technical Trainer, you’ll work under the supervision of experienced trainers/managers as part of our inhouse training team
- Undergo 2 months of training on our platform leading to certification.
- Gain in-dept knowledge of our platform, understand technical solutions, learn to build applications using the platform and impart the knowledge to the learners.
- Learn to configure integrations with external systems, databases & services, etc.
- Learn to create highly technical content – presentations, videos, quizzes, etc., for the training requirements under the supervision of senior trainers/managers.
- Learn to manage classrooms, deliver effective sessions, conduct assessments, evaluate submissions, track the learner’s progress and handle queries for in-house training sessions, our customers and partners.
- Learn to manage training schedules, coordinate with other team members and departments while maintaining accurate records of trainee’s attendance, assessments, and feedback.
- Work with senior trainers/managers for developing in-house automation solutions required for the training team/department.
- Keep updated with latest trends and product improvements and delivery knowledge transfer sessions for the team and other in-house learners.
- Learn and adopt the various internal tools used by the team for functioning and maintaining of the training infrastructure.
- Learn to understand business requirements and technical documentation to gain knowledge that will help in delivering technical training sessions and creating self-paced learning modules.
- Learn to address roadblocks by seeking information, and clarification by asking questions & actively participating in technical & team discussions with different stakeholders
- Take ownership of tasks assigned, maintain velocity, share updates, and escalate blockers promptly
- Actively participate alongside fellow developers; seek knowledge and share feedback with managers/leadership to help improve the training programs and streamline the process.

- Basics of troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to software development
- Keen on learning different training tools and technologies including learning management systems and virtual training platforms.
- Ability to create and use multi-media content such as videos, presentations and e-learning modules.

Travel Requirements
- Decisions have customers and partners across the globe. As a member of the training team, to cater to the training and up-skilling requirements of in-house employees, customers, and partners; travelling outside of the base location is an essential part of the job.
- The trainers are also required to conduct training on-campus within the college premises, for the freshers hiring program.
- The percentage of travel required varies based on the business needs, ranging from 10% to 30% of the total time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Computer Science
- Other engineering graduates, or those with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer applications with demonstrable teaching skills and software development knowledge, may also apply. 0-6 months of experience in teaching technical concepts
- 0 to 1 Year of experience in teaching technical concepts
