Career Description:
This position will be responsible for configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting the HIE Solutions business customer’s systems and acting as a subject matter expert, supporting tickets to completion. It is an external-customer facing and requires solid organizational skills and follow through. The person will work in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented work environment that is guided by and upholds company core values.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Manage and support the HIT Solutions Image Exchange products, providing troubleshooting and escalating to the Senior Engineers as needed.
2. Perform daily health checks on image exchange systems.
3. Support common problems and create / update procedures as needed.
4. Troubleshoot independently any image exchange problems.
5. Troubleshoot independent network connectivity issues using command line tools and utilities.
6. Create knowledgeable tickets to track customer support issues.
7. Maintain and develop new documentation on the Image Exchange network and infrastructure.
8. Follow guidelines for security measures and audits to maintain eHealth Technologies HIPAA compliant status.
9. Coordinate with IT department teams to ensure security practices are followed.
10. Assist in scheduled monthly maintenance sessions.
11. Maintain imaging equipment inventory, service contracts, and service histories.
12. Identify bottlenecks and assist in capacity planning.
13. Perform other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
1. Bachelors in related subject required or equivalent work experience preferred.
2. 3 years’ experience with healthcare IT systems preferred.
3. 3-5 years Windows 2012 / 2016 / 2019 administration experience.
4. MSSQL database knowledge. Understanding of ad hoc queries and SQL scripting.
5. Experience with developing system scripts to automate redundant tasks.
6. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Network troubleshooting. Knowledge with Cisco firewall management a plus.
8. Virtualization of servers to optimize hardware deployment.
9. Ability to work late hours as well as occasional weekends to support a 24x7 production environment.
