We are in need of a highly motivated Sales Development Representative who thrives working as Lavu’s first point of contact and working with current clients. As a growing SaaS company and making a difference in today’s dynamic industry, we are looking for a Business Development Representative that not only can keep up with our national and international customer base, but also play quarterback to our growing sales team. This enthusiastic and confident professional would be seeking the opportunity of a lifetime, to be part of a mission that is positively changing the lives of restaurant owners.
WHO YOU ARE
- Have strong critical thinking skills, especially on your feet, moving.
- Have expert written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Love helping people (customers and your teammates).
- Professional, courteous, respectful, positive and upbeat energy on the phone.
- You possess a certain amount of charisma and phone presence.
- Love to see businesses grow and succeed and are super excited about being a part of our alliance with restaurant owners.
- Able to move at the speed of light (we know this is not possible, but we try to get as close as we can).
- Jedi at juggling many balls, in the air, start/stop, then start juggling again. Yeah!
WHO YOU ARE NOT
- Inefficient keyboard typist (seek and destroy won’t work at Lavu).
- Don’t like learning, growing and developing in your professional career.
- Not able to listen, process and learn from constructive feedback.
RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Schedule, call, confirm appointments to our sales agents.
- Answering, distributing and replying to current and new customer emails and phone calls.
- Monitoring inbound Lavu.com chats and responding accordingly.
- Articulating how our products work.
- Answer product, deals and quote questions by email and phone from resellers.
- Research data validation from customers.
- Minor customer care problem solving over phone.
WHAT WE’D LIKE TO SEE
- High School Diploma or GED. College grad preferred.
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
- Experience preferred in an administrative role or sales or customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and an expert at Excel is a plus.
- Proficient in computer shortcuts/skills a major plus.
- Scheduling and calendar management abilities.
