Job Description

The position of Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring that our clients are engaged with the our products and services. The role goes beyond sales, consulting, and project management by ensuring that the client maintains an interest in the products and services and is satisfied every step of the way.

Engagement Managers should have significant experience in leading teams that provide our clients proven best practices and assist non-technical people in understanding how the OnePlan Solutions technologies and services can impact and improve their business practices. They will collaborate with sales and technical teams to design and execute strategic business plans including best practices, training workshops, and executive presentations.

Engagement Managers ensure that projects are well planned and that project risks are mitigated and/or addressed throughout the execution. They will also assess quality control and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies regarding processes, tools, and systems. Success is measured through client satisfaction, continuous improvement, project effectiveness KPIs and profitability KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day interaction with the customer (main point of contact).
  • Creating & maintaining a project schedule with milestones and tasks.
  • Entering weekly status & producing project status report to be delivered to the customer weekly.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Manage scope for implementation and ensure all parties understand when customer requests are deviating from the scope.
  • Track change requests, work with the team to determine options, estimates and create change orders.
  • Lead business strategy workshops and produce phased roadmap from customer needs & requirements.
  • Act as a leader in sprint grooming and/or gathering requirements & user stories.
  • Act as a lead or provide support to Solution Consultant in creating requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, and configuration specifications – gain customer sign-off.
  • Act as a lead or provide support to the Solution Consultant in configuring the solution.
  • Act as a lead or provide support to Solution Consultant for End User training.
  • Participate as a member of the OnePlan Solutions Solutions implementation team in discovery sessions to understand the client's business objectives and system needs.
  • Work with a Solutions Architect and/or Solution Consultant to design the solution that best meets the client's requirements.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Ability to learn and master new technologies with a technical and math aptitude.
  • Enterprise-level business project experience with strong process analysis, design, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent MS Office and MS product knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / Scrum Master Certification (SCM) / SAFe Certifications.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional.

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent business process and/or project experience using tools such as Visio, MS Project, and any relational database system.
  • Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues.
  • Technical aptitude and a high degree of self-motivation to train and achieve OnePlan Solutions and Microsoft application, customizations, and installations certifications.
  • Excellent business process and best practices experience or aptitude.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships.
