What You’ll Do at OnePlan:
As a Power BI Specialist supporting the Product team, you will play a critical role in delivering data-driven insights that inform product strategy, development, and optimization. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring the team has actionable insights to make informed decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization, data analysis, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments, including Product Management and Leadership.
Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to track key product metrics, offering clear, actionable insights to the Product team.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (such as user data, financial metrics, and resource allocation) to provide insights that support product decisions.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Analysts to understand data needs, design customized reports, and identify opportunities for improvement based on data trends.
Optimize Reporting Processes: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and scalability of reporting processes, leveraging automation where possible.
Data Modeling: Design and develop data models to support new and existing reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across the business solution.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities and insights.
Our Ideal Fit:
- 3+ years of experience working with Power BI, data visualization, and data analysis, preferably within a product management or SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and data transformation in Power BI.
- Experience with relational databases, data warehouses, ETL processes, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
