As a Team Leader, Accounting – AP, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the AP team to ensure high performance and engagement
• Setting clear objectives and providing support through ongoing feedback and HR processes
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and credit memos, including proper coding and authorization
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Monitoring and adhering to month-end close schedules for EUF companies
• Assisting in reconciling the AP subledger to the general ledger
• Reviewing and approving new supplier setups and changes
• Handling escalated queries and supporting resolution of complex issues
• Reconciling intercompany charges and coordinating balance agreements
• Supporting VAT returns preparation and submission
• Enhancing the internal control environment to mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives including automation and standardization of AP processes
• Reducing open GL items, unallocated payments, and overdue payables
• Collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial transaction processing, preferably in a large and complex organization
• At least 3 years of experience leading an Accounting or Finance team in a high-volume business
• 1+ year of direct experience in Accounts Payable operations
• Strong understanding of transactional accounting principles
• Proven track record in driving process and systems improvements
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Positive, flexible attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
