Your role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an FX Option Dealer to join us as we continue to expand our sales operations in Italy. We are seeking a hungry and motivated individual who knows how to manage existing customers, and what it takes to on-board new businesses. The role would be based in our offices in Milano, will report directly to the Italian Director.
What you'll be doing
Responsibilities:
- Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities for Option products through prospecting, market analysis and networking.
- Build and structure Options products in Bloomberg or BARX.
- Perform ongoing analysis on new/existing client portfolios for those suitable for Options.
- Through client management via telephone solicitation: solicit orders, price up the Option and execute the order via client instructions.
- Manage the relationship with the clients and provide excellent customer service.
- On a monthly basis meet/exceed revenue and new account targets set by supervisor.
- Create revenue through open trading deals.
- Work alongside other sales personnel to generate, motivate and support sales team efforts.
- Work alongside back-office staff to resolve potential Compliance, Operation or Credit issues of concern.
- Work with Sales Support staff for on-boarding process.
- Absolute adherence to company compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines
Qualifications And Experience
- Strong commercial FX sales experience with a Bank or FX Broker.
- Excellent working knowledge of foreign exchange markets and their conventions.
- Proven track record of delivering foreign exchange risk management solutions.
- Good knowledge or experience of derivatives/options is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional deportment and the ability to persuade.
- Organization, verbal and visual presentation, and a proactive approach to sales.
- Excellent time management.
- Insight and experience to protect the company’s commercial priorities and positively drive client relationship.
- Extreme attention to detail, particularly with respect to client information and payment data
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience of analysing large data sets.
- Proven relationship builder with colleagues and clients.
- Strong IT skills including knowledge of Super Derivatives, Bloomberg or Reuters
- Strong verbal and written communication ability.
- Ideally registered or approved by a European Financial Services Authority
Authority – Is this needed?
- To solicit business on behalf of Corpay
- To negotiate and book Options trades.
- Options: only those authorized by the company as certified to sell Options for the company have the authority to do so.
Accountability
- Reports to Sales Manager Options of the region in which they work.
- Accountable to supply excellent customer service to their clientele.
- Accountable to targets set by manager.
- Accountable to fellow staff members to work in coordination to support Corpay as a whole.
- Accountable to meeting all Corpay brand guidelines and executing all duties with the Corpay core values as the benchmark.
