Your role
We are looking for an experienced quality engineer with expertise in defining and implementation of software testing strategy to help us deliver high quality e-mobility platform of the future. In Europe alone, about 30 million EVs will buy billions of charging sessions per year by 2030, and Plugsurfing is the leading platform serving this growing charging market. This is a unique opportunity to become part of the next generation cloud based product that is already serving millions of charging sessions each year.The ideal candidate has agile mindset and is experienced in testing microservices on cloud platform to ensure superior quality and scalability. You should be interested in understanding the business and how the product is solving the business problems.
What you'll be doing
Your role:
- You will be working in a cross-functional autonomous product squad majorly with Java, React and AWS. The squad members work in close collaboration with the Product Manager throughout the whole development lifecycle with strong focus on the customer and usability while building features.
- Collaborate with your team to understand and be part of the solution design process
- Define and identify requirements, anticipate risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming and existing features
- Work with Tech Lead to align on the technical roadmap and prepare a test strategy
- Use a mix of manual and technical testing skills to execute a variety of testing techniques
- Data driven approach to help in improving development processes with other testers, developers, as well as managers
- Engage with the squad members to share knowledge
- Mentor and coach other testers
The following skillsets are required:
- Experience in API testing
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience of any cloud platform and CI/CD process is a plus
- Coding ability in any language
- Experience with tools like Postman, Browserstack, Selenium, Jira
- Experience in troubleshooting using system logs and monitoring dashboards
Some of the technologies you’ll get to work with:
- Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, Python
- Docker, Kafka, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elastic search, Superset
- Microservices architecture on AWS
