What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Credit Control Team Leader within our ANZ Credit Operations division. This position falls under our credit control line of business and sits in our Ellerslie office. In this role, you’ll lead the credit control team and play a crucial role in ensuring the team functions effectively, efficiently and in line with the organization’s financial goals and business objectives.

Role Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Credit Operations Manager, the Credit Control Team Leader is responsible for supervising and co-coordinating the day-to-day operations of the credit control team through coaching, training and performance management of staff. Acting as a point of escalation on all queries from applicants, customers, merchants and sales, this role leads Corpay’s credit activities with the ANZ region to effectively reduce and control financial risk to the business while maximizing customer acquisition and retention.

Qualifications & Skills
You’ll be at an advantage in this role if you have at least 2 years of team leadership experience in a high-volume environment. Previous experience in a related field such as Credit Control, Collections or Accounts Receivables or experience in the fuels, oil and/or energy sector, payments, credit/debit card services is preferred. Must be able to motivate, inspire and lead a team, and be proficient using CRM tools and analytics platforms. This role will really suit a strategic thinker who is strong in disputes management and people leadership with exceptional customer service skills and genuine care for helping others. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to always operate in a friendly and professional manner and can work independently if required.
