The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Revenue Operations team. Reporting to our Revenue Operations Manager with a dotted-line to our CMO, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics, with specific experience in Salesforce and Pardot. This role will be pivotal in optimizing our marketing processes, enhancing lead generation efforts, and driving data-driven decision-making.
For this role, there is a preference for those who are based in or near the Triangle area (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC), but we are open to remote candidates who are willing to travel to Durham on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
Marketing Automation Management
- Manage and optimize the Salesforce/Pardot marketing automation platform to execute email marketing campaigns, nurture programs, and lead scoring models
- Manage, maintain and optimize other marketing software tools and their integrations with Salesforce including ZoomInfo, Bombora, G2, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Zapier to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and continuously
- Develop and implement lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the sales funnel
CRM Integration
- Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and Pardot, maintaining data integrity and synchronization
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing and sales processes, enhancing lead handoff and tracking
Campaign Execution
- Collaborate with Content / Web & Digital Marketing team to ensure campaigns are captured, tracked, executed and analyzed
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve ROI
Data Management and Analysis
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and Pardot, including lead and contact information, campaign tracking, and reporting
- Analyze marketing data to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization
Reporting and Analytics
- Generate regular reports on marketing performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign ROI
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance marketing strategies and achieve business objectives
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing automation and CRM management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, preferably within a SaaS environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Pardot, with a strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM best practices
- Experience with additional marketing tech stack tools (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, G2, Bombora, Qualified, Zapier)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process optimization
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
