DESCRIPTION
A Rhythm Senior Data designs, develops, and owns data pipelines and architectures, ensuring efficient data processing and integration. This role involves collaborating with the product team to understand requirements, developing and implementing data models, mentoring junior developers, and working closely with the CloudOps and web development teams to deploy and manage data infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong agile product mindset, extensive experience with Redox and healthcare data, AWS proficiency, and Node.js expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and own data pipelines and architectures for efficient data processing and integration.
- Collaborate with our product team to understand requirements, write technical documentation and shape and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Develop and implement data models and schemas in accordance with business requirements.
- Serve as an engineering leader to mentor younger developers.
- Work closely with the CloudOps team to deploy and manage data infrastructure on AWS.
- Work closely with web developers who build our Rhythm Synergy app, our CRM management platform.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data engineering processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Agile Product Mindset: Eager to take open-end problems and quickly drive to a minimal viable product.
- Redox Experience: Proven experience working with Redox and integrating healthcare data.
- Healthcare Data: Extensive experience handling and processing healthcare data, ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations and standards.
- AWS Expertise: Proficient in using AWS services for data engineering tasks, including but not limited to S3, SQS, RDS, Lambda, and EC2.
- Node.js Proficiency: Extensive experience with Node.js for backend development and data processing.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Experience as part of a team building web applications.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Agile mindset
